System Engineer
CurrentLead the development of the Cyber-Informed Engineering Implementation Guide for the DOE office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security, and Emergency Response (CESER) and contribute to programmatic planning and outreach events. Support research, development, design, and logistics for federal critical infrastructure cyber-physical security programs. Roles include; assisting in the design of testbeds and test equipment/systems, creating and managing system and equipment schematics, using a systems engineering approach to define program scope and needs, aiding in the procurement of project tools, equipment, and parts, and executing live field exercises and training events. Serve as the Principal Investigator for the INL Non-Powered Dam research portfolio, including leading a multi-lab effort to develop NPD HYDRO (http://npd-hydro.inl.gov/), a national level screening and prioritization tool to enable stakeholders to quickly assess the feasibility of retrofitting NPDs with hydropower and energy storage technologies. Provided support and subject matter expertise to DOE, DoD, and intelligence community cyber security and energy infrastructure resilience initiatives.Provide systems engineering support to multiple National Reactor Innovation Center (NRIC) program reports aimed at facilitating and advancing the deployment of novel micro and small modular reactors at the INL site.
