Work with a multinational team to provide cross-platform software solutions for Intel HW global validation groups. Collaboration with graduate students in research for developing seek-and-rescue drones, specially in natural disaster scenarios.Drones used were Odroid-based, programmed in C++, including ROS environment simulations, and MAVLINK and WiFi connection configuration.Key responsibilities:- Port code for drone behavior from Python to C++, in order to provide faster real-time response, detection and execution of different actions.- Do research and implement computing vision algorithms that improved environment detection and path definition for drone to follow.- Improved ROS simulation environment, by building physical scenarios in simulation, loading C++ content into ROS, and polishing drone details.
