As Chief Finance & Operation Officer for Plexa and the companies of Plexa Holding Group – which has operations in industries such as: Oil & Gas, Financial Services and Real Estate – I lead the divisions of financial planning, accounting, treasury, IT, human resources, and business process optimization. Some of the responsibilities and achievements are listed below: - As finance business partner I teamed up with business units’ leaders to build budgets, expense optimization plans and performance forecasts (rolling forecast). We built a business reporting tool in Power BI that included: a dashboard with KPI’s, P&L, profitability models and a variance analysis, that can be grouped by profit units or cost center. - As the leader of the finance division, we evaluated all investment initiatives (from Due Diligence to investment valuation) and provided insights to the board of directors. Some of the projects in place: LPG storage terminal (imports/exports), Investment portfolio (financial assets), equipment renovation (40 tractor trucks) for LPG logistic unit, Auto LPG project (LPG as an alternative of gasoline), Wharf-to-terminal Gas pipeline, and natural gas treatment (dehydration) plant, among others. - I worked with business units leaders to build the strategic plan 2023-2027 and assess its impact on the company valuation, capital allocation schedule, capital structure (debt + equity), and dividend policy. - I lead the digital transformation of the accounting and project management divisions, implementing platforms that reduced manual work, eliminated paper throughout both processes, centralized information and produced reports in real time.
