Maintain a functional and well-rounded knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, while addressing global issues that may be affecting the client(s), in a busy practice. Manage multiple matters, covering various aspects of Federal and state laws (including extensive traversing, within the Immigration and Nationality Act) and regulations. Advocate before the Board of Immigration Appeals and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Advocate “work,” before the Supreme Court of the United States of America. Examine and review documents relevant to pending litigation and regulatory investigations (hundreds daily, at times: such as memos, letters, e-mails, and etc.), to determine whether information should be turned over to opposing parties, in response to discovery requests.Record sales and production.
