Lead and contribute to large-scale solution development of In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity systems for various airline fleets. Oversee planning, strategy development, scope, engineering activities, and overall execution of programs with budgets of up to $5M. Direct multidisciplinary cross-functional teams and coordinate workflows from engineering, software development, field engineering, management and suppliers, in an effort to manage schedules, inter-dependencies and streamline engineering activities.Selected Contributions: • Run full project lifecycle, managing all activities from design to validation, defining baseline and project scope, acquiring and allocating resources, schedule, tracking milestones, managing conflicts and escalations, generating KPI’s and metrics, and mitigating risk to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. • Manage project financials using SAP and Primavera, developing comprehensive forecasts, tracking actuals vs forecast and variances, and presenting financials during Internal Program Reviews to ensure project financial health.• Manage project technical debt using JIRA and periodic issues review meetings to ensure the proper burn-down rate of technical issues.• Implement process improvement strategies to better manage scope, reduce cost, and increase project productivity. • Mentor Junior Solution Engineering Managers on Agile methodology and how to manage Scrum Teams and Sprints.
