I have the honour to lead the architecture and design of the multi-award winning DreamLab application at the Vodafone Foundation. The DreamLab backend solution has been designed and coded from the ground up for scale and speed by leveraging the AWS services such as ELB, EC2, API GW, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, Lambda, S3, Cognito, STS, Route53, CloudWatch. The solution is fully hosted, secure and scalable supporting millions of users and thousands of requests per second.An internal IP (intellectual property) has been developed to free rate the usage of the application for Vodafone customers (Pre and Post)."DreamLab is an Android and iOS smartphone app that gives Australians the power to help fast-track a cure for cancer while they sleep at night. DreamLab works by pooling the processing power of mobile devices to create the nation’s first "smartphone supercomputer" for cancer research.
