Ensure that the developing needs of the Quarantine Station are met, by guidance of CDC Staff, and the Officer in Charge. The Quarantine Station’s objective is to prevent the introduction of a known, probable, or pathogen sufficiently contagious and/or sufficient to cause a disease of such gravity as to pose a material public health risk, and, to mitigate the risk to public health when introduction has been inadequately prevented, and to document accurately the actions taken to prevent introduction and or mitigate introduction into the United States. • Facilitate GVO & GTO (Global Vaccine Order & Global Testing Order) surveillance daily quality checks of inbound international flights to ensure airlines and passengers are compliant with providing the appropriate testing documentation for international travel in response to global pandemic disease response efforts, e.g. Covid-19.• Assist CDC with drug releases to hospitals in response to emergency procedures, ensure that all drugs are stored properly.• Responsible for generating electronic and written records related to the public health risk assessment during the entry screening process with little to no supervision. • May board aircrafts with Customs and Border Protection Officers (the customs officer being there to ensure compliance from passengers and crew) to conduct passenger assessment.• Display technical and interpersonal competence in independently meeting and partnering with other Quarantine Station health personnel on matters which transcend individual cases.
