Attended seminars regarding disproportionate minority contact in criminal justice system and the Virginia Commission on Youth which focused on juvenile offender re-entry and kinship care.

Spearheaded 6-month long project to withdraw and qualify corporate entities in 20 states. Organized review of due diligence for potential multi-million dollar transaction for a Fortune 500 corporation. Conferred with state agencies to order Good Standing Certificates and charters. Ordered, reviewed and catalogued Uniform Commercial Code financing statements, state and federal tax liens, judgment liens and fixture filings. Drafted medical affidavits, petitions for the appointment of guardian ad litem, notices of hearings and draft sketch orders for pro-bono guardianship hearings.

Promoted to this position in 2006 based on three years of previous work experience as a Student Assistant, exceptional leadership and problem solving skills. Registered new patrons, modified patron accounts as well as due dates, daily. Supervised Student Assistants and delegated tasks such as book shelving, searches and check- in. Worked 9 ½ hours a week while attending classes full-time.
