During my time with Aegis, I have gained a variety of transferable skills; the main one being taking customer service calls and answering customer queries, logging complaints on a database.This means handling their personal information and resolving their issues in the shortest time possible but also ensuring that any outcome is beneficial to the customer and also the company. I have also partaken in the coaching and training of members of staff, this involved monitoring agents' call quality and producing reports to conduct training with team members to improve their performance. Manager call backs are also another role that I have done which was delegated to me by my team leader which involved calling outbound to customer to inform them of any updates or issues with the complaints. Throughout this role I have handled sensitive details of customers and have managed several accounts at a time; for this the organisational skills I have developed have been essential.

Customer service, was again, a major skill involved in my role with the company. My responsibilities, such as, till handling meant I had to deal with members of the public, face to face, on a day to day basis. This helped me develop confidence with handling any queries the customer may have had and developed excellent interpersonal and communications skills in a very busy setting. I have also managed stock rotation to ensure that the latest trends and styles are on display and also make sure that stock has been replenished to ensure customers that they have all products available. I have participated in the night shifts which allow the store to be rearranged to company expectations. It also highlighted that I was able to problem solve under pressure in a short space of time. Working on the tills also highlighting being trustworthy and showed money handling skills.

As highlighted throughout, customer service has been an integral part of any job role I have had; this was also the case when at Skills solution. I had to use my telephone skills to speak with customers and answer any questions they have had. The admin side of the role included handling mail, which lead to me producing letters for school leavers and also mail sorting. On occasion I, also, created documents for the HR side of the company.
