MTO Contract 2008-2034: Hurontario widening through Caledon Village (Aecon, 2009). MTO Contract 2009-2031: 401 widening through Mississauga (Dufferin, 2010, 2011). MTO Contract 2011-2017: Hwy 9 resurfacing from Tottenham to Schomberg (Coco Paving, 2011). Using Primavera to create realistic schedule for residual work on contracts. Responsible for ensuring the Contractor completed the MTO Contracts to the provincial standards. Maintained MTO quality assurance on concrete structures, asphalt paving, and all granular work completed on the job sites. Kept detailed diaries documenting, and allowing payment for the work completed by the Contractor, communicating the progress of the contract to the MTO. Attended and chaired monthly MTO site meetings, informing everyone about, and helping to solve on site problems as the contracts were being completed. Attended bi-weekly meeting with the townspeople to address their concerns with the construction, increasing both my political and personal communication skills. Monthly visits to all HCIO’s site offices to preform H&S checks, along with managing and training all employees; ensuring they comply with federal, provincial and corporate policies & procedures. Worked a minimum of 44hours/week during the summer season; working nights, weekends, and holidays when required. Worked for, and learned from the highly respected staff members.
