I provide and lead multiple Managed Services, spanning across the Corporate, Voluntary and NHS sectors. Each service provides it's own unique challenge - including multiple different geographical environments and domains.I lead SAM Essentials from a SAM Consultants perspective, consulting on not only SAM practice but also the general processes that companies must adhere to. Within the scope of SAM essentials, I serve as a mentor and guide for multiple different users and customers.

As a dedicated internal SAM professional, I was responsible for the ongoing compliance of a number of different vendors. Most notably, I was the Microsoft Server SMEs.I participated in and led Windows Server, SQL Server and MSDN reviews - including a transition from Processor to Core-based licensing.I co-ordinated with IT directors and C-Suite level executives daily, to support a global Software Asset Management and IT Governance initiative.

As a SAM consultant, I currently manage two large blue chip company's Software and Compliance position, each of which presenting their own challenge. The largest of which has a large IT infrastructure spanning across multiple countries and purchasing boundaries. I have been involved with the service since the beginning and involve myself in any trips which may become available.The other large company is a well-known insurance company with offices all over the UK. I make quarterly trips to meet the customer and perform monthly updates on their compliance position.

I started my employment at Phoenix Software as a data normaliser – in charge of mapping uncleansed Software signatures (MSI) and executables to a standardised manufacturer, product and version. The purpose of which was to provide the senior consultants with data which could have software licences applied. I took it upon myself to learn everything about License Management and the database upon which License Dashboard relies. I am heavily involved in system testing, UAT testing and feature/bug logging within the team – something which has only aided my desire to understand the back end of the software and how it really ticks. I involve myself in every training session and often provide support to team members.I quickly progressed to SAM services executive where I took on key responsibilities within the Customer and Partner support team. I provided top quality customer service and training to users all over the world (United States, South America, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia and Sweden); sometimes travelling to host training sessions with large groups, the most notable of which was Pennsylvania (December 2015) where I conducted License Manager training for 30+ people with my manager.Following on from this, I have taken on a key managed service - managing the data of a large retailer with an estate in excess of 130k devices – a challenge which I have enjoyed. In addition to this, I have also taken on a full managed service which I provide quarterly on-site visits to. I love meeting new people and often pursue the opportunity to work overseas.
