Bledsoe was assigned to Anvil TRP 2nd PLT as an Armor Crewman. Later in December 2005, PFC. Bledsoe was reassigned to 1st PLT as a Cavalry Scout.In June 2006, the unit was reflagged as the 1-91 Airborne CAV 173rd ABCT. Later that year, PFC. Bledsoe was sent to FT. Benning, GA and received his Airborne qualification. Upon returning to Schweinfurt, DE PFC. Bledsoe was sent to Squad Designated Marksman Training and received the SDM qualification.In May 2007, PFC. Bledsoe was deployed to the Paktika Province, Afghanistan under Task Force Saber for OEF 7 - 9. In July 2007, PFC. Bledsoe was promoted to Specialist. By July 2008, SPC. Bledsoe had completed a 15 month tour. While deployed, SPC. Bledsoe was designated PLT Sniper and supported Anvil TRP role as a reconnaissance unit.In July 2008, Anvil TRP returned home to Schweinfurt, DE. SPC. Bledsoe finished the rest of his initial contract and stayed with the unit until May of 2009 and returned to civilian life.In October 2012, SPC. Bledsoe joined the Army Reserves in Cape Coral, Florida as a Combat Engineer. In July 2013, SPC. Bledsoe transferred to the 365th EN CO in Knightdale, NC. In August 2013 was reclassed to a Combat Engineer. Promoted in March of 2015 SGT. Bledsoe still serves in Knighdale, NC.On 3 November 2019, SGT Bledsoe deployed under Operation Inherent Resolve to the countries of Kuwait and Iraq to perform IED clearing and G-LOC operations.
