I am a recent graduate from Georgetown University whose research and interests sit at the intersection of technology and society. I graduated with honors with a B.S. in Science, Technology and International Affairs, a concentration in Security, a minor in Spanish, and a Certificate with the Institute for the Study of Diplomacy. I have the educational background and research expertise in the area of social implications of technology, but I also have professional experience and personal passion to back it up. My Honors Thesis utilizes the concept of framing to draw insight into the applicability of current antitrust doctrine in providing meaningful regulation over modern, technologically enabled business practices. I also received a research grant, which culminated in a published manuscript that discusses a risk-benefit analysis of CRISPR gene editing. My class work at Georgetown has ranged in subject matter from techno-surveillance and facial recognition technology to alternative credit scoring and big credit data to artificial intelligence and machine learning. Beyond my research, I have primarily worked in the area of social media technologies. I have experience managing a project that organized celebrity influencers to maximize their impact on a social media campaign, supported with tracking and analytics, custom-created content, and a proprietary research database. I have also managed the social media accounts of several political campaigns, including Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill (NJ-11) as well as several state and local candidates.
