About James Brewer
I have over 12 years experience working in the IT Industry, mostly in the Operations segment. Within the past 5 years I've branched off more into the DevOps role and it has been a journey to remember. As always, new opportunities are chances to expand your education. Quickly I've become familiar with scripting using tools like Splunk, PowerShell, Python and JavaScript. This is what sparked me into my journey of becoming a Software Developer and my passion to continue my education further than my AAS in Network Technology. One of the most recent accomplishments of mine is taking lead in managing the project of my team becoming the primary support for the InfoBurst Application. This application is used for report automation. This consisted of me becoming a Certified InfoBurst Admin. This accomplishment was unique to me as I had a front row seat of how an application works on the back-end. Within the next year, I plan to have an official role as a Front-End Software Developer. Soon after that, I'll get the education needed to become a Full-Stack Developer. I'm all for change, technology is always changing so this role will server me well.
