Operator during commissioning of Re-Powered Nueces Bay Energy Center combined cycle plant and selected as one of five Control Room Operators. As a Control Room Operator I cycle, maintain, and continuously monitor two 7FA GE gas turbines as well as a GE D8 steam turbine and subsequent balance of plant equipment via Cimplicity and mark VIe system.

Completed Nuclear training at Naval Nuclear Power School and Naval Power Training Unit Ballston Spa.Transferred to USS Abraham Lincoln CVN-72. While aboard I qualified all RAR watch stations up to Chief Reactor Watch. As Chief Reactor Watch I was responsible for all Reactor Room equipment and the watchstanders therein under the Watch Officer.
