● Suburban Rail Loop: Package Manager leading the multi-disciplined technical team for the delivery of Stage 1 Concept Design deliverables associated with the Southern Maintenance Facility and Stabling Yard, Portals and Shafts and the Linewide Rail Infrastructure and Systems.● Suburban Rail Loop: Package Manager for Future Stages of Suburban Rail Loop through the Feasibility and Advanced Feasibility Stage. The project is the development of a new 60km orbital rail loop linking the middle suburbs of Melbourne. Led multi-disciplined team through the optioneering phase to identify a baseline solution for the purposes of cost-estimating. The Future Stages of the project includes 30km of tunnelled alignment, 7 new stations (within activity centres, employment centres, multi-modal interchanges, access to the Airport) and provision of a new stabling facility.

● High Capacity Metro Trains: Deputy Project Manager (2017-2019) and formerly Responsible Engineer (2017-2017) for the Independent Reviewer (IR) for the procurement of 65 new metropolitan trains, train maintenance facility, light service facility and simulators to serve the Melbourne Metropolitan Network. The project is delivered under a PPP agreement and was awarded to Evolution Rail (Downer, CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles and Plenary Group) end of 2016. Deputy Project Manager for the team completing compliance verification of Evolution Rail’s management plans and technical design and monitoring the delivery of the project in order to achieve overall validation at individual project stages. Completion of Audits, Inspections and Reviews to ensure IR certification confirming compliance to project objectives and requirements.● Asset Condition Assessment Project: Technical manager responsible for the development of Asset Condition Assessment Guidelines for assessing Yarra Trams and Melbourne Metro Infrastructure to identify possible future renewal modes of Railway Infrastructure. Asset Guidelines span OCMS, permanent way, signalling and power supply systems.

● NEXUS Rolling Stock: Developed a 30-year maintenance costing model to reflect differences in costs for maintaining and life extending current fleet considering proactive and reactive maintenance against the maintenance costs for a new LRV and transition stock from old to new vehicles.● London Tramlink Fleet Technical Services: Led number of work streams including: developing standard guidance for depot staff on activities to undertake on discovery of a weld defect, development of a test procedure for new door control and undertook testing in conjunction with tram operator, undertook vehicle inspections for the development of a repair procedure for CR4000 modifications.● London Tramlink Additional Trams Technical Support: Undertook secondment at London Tramlink dealing with integration of new trams. Undertook work including Passenger Counting System testing, analysis and improvements; Passenger Information System updates; Wrong Side Door Opening investigation and subsequent improvement of door control system; vehicle gauging identification of specific infrastructure locations where risk of contact with bogie frame is present; improving compatibility of lifting equipment● Bolster Stool Cracking: Undertook structural analysis of bolster stool subject to cracking with load cases developed from on track testing. Developed a multi-crack growth fracture mechanics model analysing stress and stress intensity at different stages of crack growth. Defined an action plan detailing recommended inspection intervals of different crack sizes and a maximum allowable crack size before repair.
