My role involves managing the operational delivery of a programme of online short courses. I am responsible for acting as the Cambridge Online Education team's key contact for all external queries, managing and escalating them as appropriate. I also help to co-ordinate customer support improvements as well as leading on delivery and operational planning.

I co-ordinated the activities of project teams consisting of Faculty Subject Matter Experts, Learning Designers, Learning Developers and other creative staff, who were responsible for the delivery of a portfolio of online and blended courses. I helped to ensure timely delivery to exacting standards of quality, both in terms of academic rigor and production values.

I brought a considered, compelling, strategic and consistent approach to the online user experience (UX) across the entire range of academic digital products in order to optimise the learning and research journey. I ensured that products met the needs of our users by leading all UX activities including, but not limited to, usability testing, desk research and the management of user feedback. Responsible for the co-ordination of the full design cycle including developing specifications and style guides, interactive and static wireframes, workflow diagrams and storyboards, prototypes and high-fidelity deliverables that met both user and business needs. I worked closely with a variety of stakeholders including development/delivery teams, external agencies and other global colleagues.

I had ownership and responsibility for the Cambridge Core academic publishing platform from conceptualisation stage through to go-live. Bridging technical and business worlds, I helped deliver the overall product roadmap. I ensured key customer groups were represented during requirement gathering and backlog prioritisation. I worked with a diverse team (developers, solution architects, QA analysts) to help facilitate solutions whilst maintaining the integrity and overall user experience of the platform.

I ensured that the online publishing of Cambridge Journals met the needs ofthe business. Key responsibilities included gathering and documenting new requirements for the platform and engaging with the offshore development team during implementation to ensure that features were delivered on schedule and to specification. I also led user acceptance testing during each release cycle, ensuring the testing procedure was understood and feedback was reported in a standard format.

Responsible for the production management of 19 HSS and STM journals. Daily duties include coordinating copy editing, typesetting and proofreading. I ensure that journalissues are published on time and within budget. I deal with queries from authors and editors both in person and by email.

Provided administrative support to a team of 12 production editors, assisted with holiday cover, proofreading, and dealt with author queries. Digitised paper invoice system, took meeting minutes.

Worked as part of a team excavating archaeological sites. Included skilled excavation work, cataloguing fnds, recording data and physical surveys.
