A three-week long internship focused around attending Physics and Maths classes, planning an activity for every timetabled lesson of GCSE level students. Shadowing and supporting the teachers as well as undertaking lesson observations, with a presentation of our three-week course to be completed at the end of our period. We were also asked to visit our local Middle School and work with the other interns and present a 'science fair' lesson, showing them lots of little science tricks and activities.

A role that I was a part of for several years, I was a member of staff at an after school club, looking after the children, aged from 4 to 9. Co-ordinating all of the activities each day, feeding 80 children, as well as ensuring that the students are learning important life values whilst staying entertained and engaged.
