•Performed a variety of routine blood drawing procedures to include venipuncture. Prepared, processed, and stored patient specimens and samples according to departmental procedures using standard techniques and equipment. Utilized standard procedures for the maintenance of positive patient identification, interact with patients and play a role in their overall healthcare experience, pack and ship specimens as well as prepare samples.

•Collect invasive and non-invasive medical devices from different departments at assigned medical facilities. Determine appropriate placement of Sterilmed collection containers and implement continual process improvement on pathway assessments. Sort and pre-clean devices according to the hospital infection control policies and policies and procedures that are necessary to meet shipping requirements if a third party collections vendor is not utilized in assigned medical facility. Package and label collected devices for shipment. Maintain necessary supplies and documentation for appropriate packaging and shipping. Keep a binder at each assigned site that includes the most current version of: Site Execution Agreement (SEA), Updated Site Walking Instructions (SWI), current Return Goods Authorization (RGA) Forms, Orange RGA Labels, and Incident Report. Develop and execute plans to increase collections in existing accounts. Acquire and maintain all necessary vendor credentials to gain account access.

•Adult Elderly Care, and long term care facility. Consulting with physicians and other health care staff to develop and modify care plans for best patient care. Operating and maintaining Ventilator, Bipap, Blowby, & CPT, Nasal Canaulas equipment. Administering medications and monitoring patient responses to therapy. Keep proper documentations and records of all care performed, including Trach Care, Suctioning as needed, equipment maintenance an changing on scheduled dates. Transporting patients to their scheduled appointments.

Palm Desert

•Provide respiratory therapy/manage pulmonary rehab. under Dr. Gonzalez direction, in the treatment, management, control and diagnostic evaluation and care of patients in the office with deficiencies of the cardiopulmonary system. Conduct tests, such as electrocardiograms (EKGs), stress testing, or lung capacity tests, to evaluate patients' cardiopulmonary functions. Inspect, clean, test, and maintain respiratory therapy equipment to ensure equipment is functioning safely and efficiently, ordering repairs when necessary. Maintain charts that contain patients' pertinent identification and therapy information. Complete paperwork for insurances purposes.
