Gold Coast Light Rail project: Tasks included on site subcontractor safety management, auditing electrical rail permits, daily safety inspections of tram station construction, rail corridor, bridge construction, public areas, landscaping, scaffolding, excavation and presenting the project safety induction and rail safety inductions.

My role in this Project is to oversee all aspects of Workplace Health and Safety involved for the construction of twin 400 m tunnels and related tunnel infrastructure, earthworks and roadworks that formed part of the Tintenbar to Ewingsdale highway upgrade for RMS- Roads and Maritime Services.

My role in the above projects was to manage Workplace Health and Safety requirements in constructing new highways for Department of Main Roads QLD, Gold Coast Light Rail early works and a new 8km seawall for Gladstone Ports Corporation. Tasks included engaging and auditing onsite sub contactors, site safety inspections of major earthworks, training and inductions, reviewing and adapting company safety systems.

My role in this project was to supervise and audit rail safety systems. The project involved constructing new electrical sub stations and renewal of underground and overhead services within the (Railcorp) Sydney city rail tunnel network system. My duties included communicating with English and non-English speaking workers, sub-contractor safety management & promoting a positive safety culture. Alice Springs to Darwin Railway, NT (2001-2003) This $1.4B project involved the construction of 1410km of new railway line, rail formation, 93 bridges, and road / rail level crossings from Alice Spring to Darwin.Sydney East Hills Rail Project, Trackwork & Overheads (2001)This construction project for 11km of new railway and overhead electrical wiring along the Sydney East Hills rail corridor during live train operation.
