As the Lead Healthcare Planner for the Ottawa Office, James works closely with the Project Designers and Clinical/Operational Specialists to ensure the Project’s clinical objectives are met and to provide an integrated healthcare solution. His responsibilities include implementing the clinical aspects of the space program, functional layout, operational adjacencies and departmental space requirements for the Project.With more than 20 years experience as a design and project architect, James brings a thoughtful and creative approach to each assignment, bringing extensive institutional and private sector experience providing innovative solutions to projects faced with tight budgets and schedules. James has strong leadership and organizational skills that have resulted in successful working relationships with a wide variety of Client and Stakeholder groups. A strong believer in collaborative design, he works with user and client groups to develop environments that promote wellbeing for both patients and staff.
