I'm have an Electronic Combat Officer (ECO) / Air Weapons Officer (AWO) background in the E-3 and am 40/45 trained. I am currently employed at the AWACS Mission Training Center (MTC) on JBER, AK. I perform a variety of tasks designed to test and challenge aircrew' s knowledge and skills in a variety of simulated events designed around real world scenarios. I'm also the lead instructor for the Flight Instructor Course (FIC); that is the first step in an aircrew member becoming an instructor in their current crew position. During my time at Nellis AFB in the 549th CTS as an Operations Supervisor, I facilitated US/joint/coalition Air Force partners training in joint air to ground operations with the US Army in the Air Force's premiere Close Air Support (CAS) exercise, Green Flag West. Participating units were provided the opportunity to hone their CAS skills in a joint live fire environment making them a more lethal warrior.As an officer in the Air Force and as an Air Battle Manager, I've gained experience as a leader, manager and mentor. Officer's are typically thrown into situations where they lack experience and are expected to figure it out and get results. As an Air Battle Manager I have experience controlling military aircraft in combat environments, detecting and identifying aircraft via radar and passive detection systems in order to provide a robust and comprehensive air picture over tactical data links for use by other aircraft and the Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC).My time as a Missile and Space Facilities technician has given me experience with power production, HVAC and waste disposal systems on Intercontinental Ballistic Missile facilities in North Dakota. My most rewarding experience was as a technical School instructor teaching the Missile and Space Facilities maintenance course. It was here where I gained a significant portion of my award-winning instructor knowledge and know-how. This ultimately led to my commission as a rated officer. Outside of work you can find me enjoying time with my family, riding my Ducati, playing guitar and numerous outdoor activities.
