With almost 30 years of experience in software design and development, I have vast experience in all facets of the process. From gathering and refining customer requirements; designing and optimizing user interfaces; providing pattern-based design and implementation of software solutions; to testing and verifying the end product; I’ve been responsible for all of these.I’ve been the first member of several teams assigned with delivering solutions in new product areas. I’ve been responsible for building the team, communicating the customer vision for the desired solution, decomposing the problem space into functional areas amongst the team, and shepherding the team to successful delivery.I’m currently managing a team that delivers OPC UA solutions for the Siemens Totally Integrated Automation Portal (TIA Portal). This is a global project and I have daily/weekly interfaces with project stakeholders in North America, Europe, and Asia.
