Managed four Dell servers in a High Availability system including setup and configuration of all system, network, backup, and fail-over services. Modified startup scripts for all services to support heartbeat including Apache(httpd), bind, mysql, drbd, sshd, and svn repositories. Wrote backup system from the ground up to support drbd, autorotation, and email logging as well as to do full and partial rsync backups on a set schedule using cron jobs. Managed RAID on all four machines and recognized a manufacturing problem involving the partition map included on all 500 gigabyte drives in that configuration.

Designed and developed front end user interface using Linux, GNU C, and GTK for an embedded FPGA logic system including processing camera feed from an unmanned aerial vehicle.

Repaired approximately 30 laptops for Air Force cadets reusing parts as much as possible to extend spare part stock. Week long position.
