ConsultantLeading a smarter working program for a business unit of the MOD. Developed DIOs award winning strategy and delivery of the Cabinet Office initiative by focusing on People, Place and Technology to empower teams and individuals to work more effectively with each other, defence partners and suppliers. Significant transformation was required to reach over 3,000 military and civil servant and change ideas and practices of how work can be achieved, pre-Covid pandemic.I delivered work stream project management and programme controls to help a Defence Organisation deliver its transformation programme. Working in one of 5 work streams managing milestones through to implementation and embedding of business change that delivered the desired outcomes and benefits. I also provided project controls support to a £1.4Bn Government IT transformation programme. Working with stakeholders across defence to deliver Risk Management, MDAL, Dependencies and Issue Registers with sufficient detail for the Initial Gate Business Case to achieve IAC approval. Clear analysis and triage of existing risks, and accurate impact modelling reduced the threat of risks to the programme by £25M.

Leading complex software projects through their lifecycle from inception to delivery; through scoping, business analysis and requirements capture, planning and development to delivery and change management.Projects include implementing Microsoft Dynamics AX interfacing with 3 legacy systems in order to control pricing practices, delivering improvement in profitability across 200 individually managed Plumbase branches.I led the Data Migration and Configuration projects on a £29 million full ERP implementation to replace 3 legacy systems.

I managed a team of 14 software developers and hardware engineers working on multiple projects for group companies and external clients.Projects included CRM, e-commerce, content management, financial facilities and management reports for Applegate Directory.
