I currently work as an attorney with the law firm Nix Patterson, LLP. I previously served as a law clerk to the Honorable Tim DeGiusti in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma. For twelve years, I worked in the Oklahoma City law firm of Holladay & Chilton, PLLC. I received my Juris Doctorate in 2002 from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where I served as Executive Editor of the American Indian Law Review. During law school, I was a judicial extern to the Honorable Shon T. Erwin, United States Magistrate Judge for the Western District of Oklahoma and law clerk to the Honorable Charles A. Johnson, then-Presiding Judge of the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals. I also was a legal intern in the Oklahoma State Senate, where I assisted senate staff attorneys in drafting legislation, advised senate staff and committees on the constitutionality of pending legislation and stability of current laws. After graduation, I clerked for the Honorable Robin J. Cauthron, then-Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma. My practice primarily involves state and federal court civil litigation and commercial transactions. I am listed as a “Rising Star” in the field of business litigation in SuperLawyers Magazine. I currently serve on the Board of Directors for the Oklahoma City branch of the Federal Bar Association.
