Geological wireframing completed in Leapfrog, resource estimation completed in StudioRM Datamine.Data management and validations. Diamond drill hole planning and rig management. Mentoring.

Underground grade control drilling, mapping, sampling. Management of up to 6 diamond drill rigs at a time. Liaising with up to 4 jumbo rigs at a time to achieve timely mapping and sampling of ore drives.

Research thesis sponsored by Doray Minerals, titled “The Deflector Au-Cu Deposit: Defining an Anomalous Yilgarn Craton Mineralisation Type using Trace Element Geochemistry.”Research included both time on-site at Deflector reviewing and selecting core for analyses, as well as time in the lab interpreting thin sections and geochemical datasets. Final thesis achieved a High Distinction and publishing by the Geological Survey of Western Australia.

The aim of my project was to determine potential areas in the mine corridor (along an area of approximately 10 km) that have open cut potential. The guidelines of my project were as follows:- Investigating current and historical data of the mine corridor- The investigation of current and historical data will allow me to determine potential areas along the mine corridor that have an open pit potential- Determine potential grade and tonnage for the areas - Create a planned pit based on the data whilst liaising with a mining engineer - Calculate the estimated cost to get to areas with a resource. The results of this project are confidential.

EarthByte is an international research group who specialise in global and regional plate tectonic reconstructions, as well as the synthesis of large geodata sets through space and time. In my time at EarthByte, I have performed a number of tasks:- Used ArcMap to digitise global orogenic uplift. This included the creation of a data set that defined total lithospheric shortening, total time of shortening, rates of shortening, and percentage of shortening in relation to the length of the crust. - Updated the GPlates 1.3 tutorials to be consistent with the release of GPlates 1.5- Used GPlates 1.5 to modify global plate reconstruction models, including the implementation of the Seton et al. (2012) Melanesian Borderlands model into the global plate model, and implementation of the Gion et al. (2015) Eurekan Orogeny deformation model into the global plate model. - Running quality control scripts using GMT
