As a Program Director I am responsible for leading a talented team of Project Managers and Auditors that perform the Audit of the Department of Defense Basic Financial Statements. As the Group Auditor, we are responsible for communicating with the Component Auditors and documenting our understanding of internal controls over the Financial Statement Compilation for the Department of Defense. The Department of Defense Financial Statement audit was supported by work performed in over 24 independent audits of DoD Components with over 1200 auditors. We also act as the main POC in support of the Government-Wide Financial Statement Audit. My Division is responsible for oversight of the Audit of Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) General Fund, Working Capital Fund, and Transaction Fund. We also oversee SSAE 18 engagements of systems and processes provided by DLA. I have over 20 years of experience leading, managing and performing audits of the Department of Defense and Department of Defense Components in accordance with Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards.

Responsible for managing multiple teams of civilians and contractors through concurrent audits that require technical expertise, result in significant deficiencies, and provide valuable recommendations for improvement in federal operations.As a Project Manager, I have managed 15 projects, produced 10 performance reports, which included over 24 findings in addition to transmitting the results of 4 financial oversight engagements and 1 financial statement opinion engagements of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers . Audits were performed within the Continental United States and at overseas locations such as Afghanistan, Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Korea, Germany, England, and Belgium. The audits included; performance, financial statement oversight, financial statement opinion, financially related performance, contract, military equipment, Office of Special Counsel whistleblower referrals, and hotline referrals at a variety of DOD organizations such as; Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, United States Army Corps of Engineers, Defense Financial Accounting Service, Defense Technical Information Center, Defense Logistics Agency, Washington Headquarters Service, and Pentagon Force Protection Agency.
