I began working with Akvotek in February 2022. During my time with them I have become very familiar with both potable and waste water treatment. I have worked with commissioning containerized water treatment plants as well as working on a waste water treatment trial at a proteins processing plant. I'm currently working on commissioning a containerized water treatment plant for a trial at the Waihi water treatment plant in New Zealand. This is to demonstrate the advanced Koch membranes system and how well they can treat potable water without the need for any further chemical addition.

I was employed at Fisher and Paykel Healthcare as a Product Development Engineer where I work in the Surgical Humidification Division. This division specialised in heating and humidifying CO2 gas for patients who were submitted to laparoscopic or open surgery. Under this role role I worked on many project including developing a low pressure regulator for open surgery and I saw out the product release of a surgical smoke filter. During my time at Fisher and Paykel I became proficient and confident in CNC machining, lathing, CAD design, project management, injection moulding, general prototyping and problem solving.

Mount Maunganui

I am working on a PI System Upgrade project where I manage the day to day running of software installation and software design. My main role is to communicate with operators and management so I understand what they want from the system upgrade and try design it to fit their requirements best.

I worked as a student intern for Ballance where I assisted on multiple project to help the other porject engineers on site. My main focus was HSNO and getting the Mount Maunganui site HSNO approved. My main project in this area was labelling pipes and designing tank vents and overflows.Other projects I did work on include:- Feasibility study of a centralised compressed air system for on of the Service Centres.- Feasibility study of installing solar panels to power a dehumidifier in a High Analysis store.

I worked as a labourer for Conspec for three summers during my breaks. Conspec specialises in bridge work, especially with concrete. I learnt many skills while working there including traffic mangement, site safety and project management skills.
