Along with anchoring I weather-casted every ten minutes throughout the show starting at 5:03 a.m. for weather on the 3's. I was able to gain invaluable on the air experience and.

This involved two weeks of storm chasing throughout the Midwest in order to get a true experience of weather firsthand. It involved forecasting where potential storms will form, studying these storms, and research with analysis of our findings. This was an invaluable experience that taught me more than any meteorologist can ever learn in a classroom.
