Prepare batches of servers for various maintenances through automated scripting tools, and execution of said change requests. Process improvement, project identification, and vulnerability remediation.

I provide Level I, II, III Help desk support to 40+ clients, managing hardware, a vast array of software, Active Directory, and VMWare hosts. I've been a field tech nearly from the start, so I spend a great deal of time face-to-face with the clients and at their locations. I assist the security team with Risk and Vulnerability assessment, as well and R&D for solutions, and then implementation.Member of the improvement team to review processes and policies for updating, and to create new processes and policies to increase efficiency.

My responsibilities were to administer our network composed of 2 physical servers, 2 virtual servers, and 1 VMWare host. I supported CCH software suites for Profx, Quickbooks, and Sage, as well as Office 2003 – Office 365. My employer was my primary client, but we also supported over 20 businesses and 40 personal users that had started as accounting clients for the firm. Services ran from general end user support to exchange management, server migration, and a backup implementation. Being the only IT person staffed, I worked every project from start to finish. Planning, pricing, ordering supplies, implementation, and follow-up were daily facets of my position. We handled registering domain names, SSl certificates, web hosting, spam filtering, and overall maintenance care for all our clients, as well as our company.
