Rye Bar’s catering division featuring local beers and batched craft cocktails for a wide array of clients. Duties included, loading, unloading and driving our vans to events, setting up and building bars, pouring cocktails, and always being resourceful in accommodating our guest’s needs.

Opened and managed bar in casual / fine dinning 120 seat restaurant in the heart of SoMa. Featured classically inspired craft cocktails, local beers and a curated wine program.Responsibilities:Created and maintained a dynamic bar program while driving sales and developing the business.Created wine lists featuring organic, biodynamic and small case production California wineries in addition to classic European expressions.Created classically inspired cocktail lists and spirit flights which changed seasonally.Offered an eclectic list of California beers in addition to working with local brewers on beer pairing dinners and selected “ tap take overs “ during beer week.Created a vibrant and very busy happy hour bar program for a diverse crowd of local young professionals.Responsible for all bar hiring and staff training of wine, beer, cocktails and spirit distillation.Placed all bar orders including liquor, wine, beer, glassware and supplies in addition to weekly inventory and cost analysis.

Emphasizing the use of sustainable foods through local farms, ranches and the promotion of small businesses for over 20 years.Responsibilities:Created rotating cocktail lists and local craft beer lists.Responsible for ordering liquor and beer as well as inventory and cost analysis.Bar hiring and staff training.Created syrups, shrubs and tinctures.Preparing drinks for the service staff as well as taking food and drink orders for bar guests.
