James Griffin holds a FL State Underground Utility license and is experienced in Heavy Civil Construction and Underground Utilities, with a background of constructing Environmental & Shoreline Stabilization projects throughout the Southeast US in addition to Residential and Commercial Developments. His experience ranges from working with small local municipalities performing maintenance of their stormwater infrastructure to large scale demolition projects on military bases, and even emergency relief working under FEMA/USACE in the Caribbean and throughout the Southeast US. He ran a family based environmental contracting firm for 26 years and now is the co-founder of Griffin Civil Construction, LLC with Jennifer Griffin (his wife) in 2019. James & Jennifer have been able to grow Griffin Civil Construction from a startup to successfully constructing multi-million-dollar land development projects within the first 12 months of being established. James volunteers his time and serves as an assistant scout master for his son’s Boy Scout troop where he has received advanced leadership training (Wood Badge/Owl Patrol, Powder Horn), & served as the Camping Committee Chair/Quartermaster. James and his son (Sean) look forward to continuing the Boy Scouting adventure together for many years to come. James and Jennifer have built a brand (www.SiSoCabinRentals.com) of vacation rentals with multiple properties located directly on the slope of Beech Mountain Ski Resort, where they host hundreds of guests annually. No mater what season it is, SiSo (Ski In / Ski Out) Cabins are located right in the center of all the adventures that Western Carolina has to offer. James’ kids (Jordan & Sean) are adventurous winter sports lovers and look forward to, every winter so they can escape the FL heat and play in the snow.
