Hello! I'm James - a junior software engineer.I love turning ideas into reality. I love problem-solving and the joy I get after fixing a bug. I love looking at a website I created and thinking “I created that”.Late 2022 I set out to become a software engineer and this is my journey so far.In 2023, I joined AppAcademy's Full Stack Web Development Bootcamp. I learned everything I needed to know about building a site from scratch. More importantly, I learned how to be my own teacher and how to read through documentation to find the answers to my questions.I had the opportunity to work on key projects that not only provided me with practical experience - but have fueled my passion for coding and creating positive impacts in the tech industry. From creating websites that simplify everyday tasks to exploring algorithms that optimize efficiency, I am eager to explore new territories and expand my knowledge.Recently, I have been working with the Blue & Yellow Foundation as a Fullstack Developer on their team, making several vital contributions to their platform. I also currently work with the African Marine Mammal Conservation Organization (AMMCO) as a Front-end Developer. These opportunities have allowed me to gain a great amount of experience and skills to join any team.
