Based in the Dorking office, I was responsible for introducing a new Learning and Development offering to support and shape learning across the company to help deliver the business plan to meet the needs of over 800 employees. Responsibilities included:- Planned, reviewed and evaluated the company internal training programme for staff across FNC.- Tendered for a new Developing Management Skills programme for over 80 managers across the business. Used Learning Needs Analysis exercise to establish learning needs and skill gaps along with results from OD diagnostic tools and data (annual staff survey and Insight psychometric testing) - Implemented and project managed rollout of new Learning Managing System including tendering. - Established the learning and Development function within the HR department by streamlining transactional processes including training requests for CPD and internal course booking. - Managed budgets for both staff CPD and internal training programmes.

Based at HM Tower of London, the role principally involved being responsible for the co-ordination of training across the retail and catering operation’s team consisting of over 100 members of staff across all palaces (including Kensington Palace and Hampton Court) including Team Leaders and senior Managers.- Responsible for coordinating all retail front of house induction training which includes EPOS, Customer Service, Health and Safety and Sales training. Created a Retail Leadership modular programme focussing on communication and team management using competency/behavioural frameworks. - Co-ordinated and reported on Mystery Shopping KPI’s for the team designing supporting to improve results. During my time with the department as a team we had consistently beaten our performance targets with a series of successive record-breaking years including achieving a turnover of over £12m for the first time ever, whilst beating our visitor satisfaction and mystery shopping score.- Coordinated various key projects, including the implementation of training of the current retail EPOS system and roll out of the retail customer service and compliance e-learning programme. - Designed a new Selling Skills package for retail staff and subsequently a monthly refresher sales and service skills programme. This included a high end product e-learning module focussing on jewellery and luxury items - Delivered HRP’s ‘Welcome Event’ induction programme for all organisation new employees. - Created content for a modular e-learning package aiming to improve shop floor sales and service, product knowledge and best practice in a Warehouse environment. - Plan and hosted the annual Retail / Catering Celebration and Awards evening for internal staff which had a direct improvement to the annual Staff Survey engagement scores the following year.
