    Identified by Managing Director and General Manager to undertake the role as part of a restructure to the XPS business.Reporting directly to the Business Development Director with a dotted line report to General Manager at Board level, this interesting role involved providing the necessary support to the sales force and broader business, including:• Creation of pricing matrices for all Polyfoam product from ASM to Sales Director level• Creation of relevant, simple literature such as U-value tables and competitor comparison information• Generation and delivery of engaging training to Sales, Technical, customers and contractors• Project management and delivery of supporting Certification such as the Polyfoam ECO Roofboard BBA• Establishment of key specification-driving relationships, notably Alumasc & IKO• Development of relationship with contractors not previously engaged by Knauf Insulation including BriggsAmasco, Lakesmere, Tilbury Contracts & Topek amongst othersIn the first full year following the restructure we achieved 123% of previous year (2012) and 114% of budget volumes.Key amongst that success has been convincing the inverted roofing market that Polyfoam was a credible offer. This is best illustrated by a > 1,000% growth in Roofboard sales between 2012 and 2013. Having previously used the expertise of system partners, I involved Alumasc and IKO to deliver hot-melt waterproofing training to our Sales and Technical staff, with SIG delivering flat roof product and application training.The role afforded significant interaction between all internal teams Commercial, Business Development, Customer Services, Marketing, Operations and Finance; it is with the latter two with whom I collaborated to create a Gross Margin Report that has enabled us to review and shape the Polyfoam business far more effectively.
