About James Hyde

I hope to inspire conservation and stewardship of our planet's most beautiful natural treasures. My journey has been a little circuitous, but straight lines are rare in nature. From public engagement, to a private middle-school. From habitat restoration to wildlife surveys. Currently I am working for the high-end ship based expedition eco-tour company, Lindblad Expeditions in partnership with National Geographic. We explore rare, delicate and pristine environments around the world, seeking to understand and appreciate it more deeply.
