Executive Producer of the Future Games Show, Golden Joystick Awards plus editorial and commercial video content for Future's Tech and Games brands.

As head of video i’m responsible for the direction and production of Futures’ global gaming showcase the Future Games Show and its yearly awards show the Golden Joystick Awards. Other aspcts of the role include, but are not limited to:- Organising and managing all video production across the company.- Co-ordinating with various internal teams to ensure work is produced to the highest standard on time and on budget.- Developing new content strands for internal teams and external partners.- Producing and developing new live events and shows.- Producing trailers, sizzle reels, pilots and full edits for a number of content streams across various platforms, including on-site and social.

Responsible for overseeing the video production for Future's games division. This includes managing the rest of the games video team and producing a range of editorial and commercial content.

As Senior Producer for Future's Tech and Games division I oversee the production of video content for all of Future’s games and tech brands as well as external clients on creative solution content when appropriate. This includes, but is not limited to, reviews, previews, features, weekly shows, syndicated content, and on location reports. Overseeing production in both the Bath and London offices I'm currently working with a number o fbrand including OPM, Edge, GamesRadar, OXM, PC Gamer, Total Film, SFC, T3 and TechRadar.Other aspects of my role include:- Managing the video production cycle by assigning work and seeing it through from initial concept through to final delivery. - Working with key stakeholders to define the use of video within the Games and Tech Group. - Directing and producing creative solutions for external clients as required.- Working with the Advertising sales team to ensure that all campaigns are delivered to clients’ expectations and within budget.- Managing the workflow of the editors, writers and other production staff within the Games and Technology studio.

The Bath Games Video studio is part of a wider Entertainment Group at Future Publishing, which also includes Official Xbox Magazine, OPM, Edge, GamesRadar, PC Gamer, Total Film, and more.Other aspects of my role include:- Managing the video production cycle by assigning work and seeing it through from initial concept through to final delivery. - Working with key stakeholders to define the use of video within the Games Group. - Directing and producing creative solutions for external clients as required.- Working with the Advertising sales team to ensure that all campaigns are delivered to clients’ expectations and within budget.- Managing the workflow of the editors, writers and other production staff within the Games studio.

As a video producer I manage a team of video editors to create bespoke content on a daily basis. This involves checking the quality of the content to ensure it meets broadcast quality standards.Other aspects of my role include:- Pitching and creating content for third parties such as Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo .- Editing videos on a daily basis. - Going out on-location in both national and international locations to conduct interviews.- Uploading all video content to YouTube for monetization and our CMS for syndication.- Ensuring we hit our targets views per month on YouTube.- Communicating with PRs and industry professionals to plan future content.

As Assistant Producer for the Games Division I was responsible for creating video content for the whole of Future’s games division as well as managing the internal asset management system.Other duties inculded:- Creating videos for internal and external clients- Managing the company's leading YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/cvg)- Pitching video ideas to companies to promote their products and drive revenue for the business- Providing weekly content for syndication to partnersAnd as an Assistant Producer on First Play I was responsible for managing a team to complete weekly deadlines on time and on budget as well as planning and producing each episode to ensure it meets the high standards required by a commercial partner.As well as this I was also responsible for:– Producing a wide variety of videos, which are both enjoyable and informative– Setting weekly and daily tasks for the team to complete and monitoring progress– Casting and auditioning talent– Directing voiceover sessions– Editing and producing a monthly podcast for the Official PlayStation Magazine

As a Content Editor on Gamesradar.com I generated daily content for the site in the form of news stories and video content. I also managed the forum and interacted with the on-line community.My other duties included:- Ensuring the site was kept fresh and up to date.- Coordinating with the US team on bug fixing and content management.

Running the UK team’s video enterprise - coordinating and facilitating the creation of video content for commercial partners, and editorial videos leading a team of approximately 7 Video Producers, Video Editors and Designers
