Mike Rozmus, CTO of Rockingham Memorial Hospital, asked me to join his team as an interim IT Director of Systems and Applications. While at RMH I oversaw all IT operations, IT Security, Helpdesk and Telecommunications. After 6 months, I was asked to join Sentara/RMH (SRMH) as the full time Director of RMH IT.I successfully integrated Rockingham Memorial Hospital into Sentara Healthcare. This entailed transitioning our infrastructure and EMR from Meditech into Epic. The integration encompassed network, servers, applications, desktops, helpdesk, and telecommunications. After successfully integrating RMH, I was tasked with integrating the newly acquired Martha Jefferson Hospital (MJH) into Sentara Healthcare. The integration encompassed network, servers, applications, telecommunications, the Cerner EMR and ancillary systems.
