I have authored "Electric Vehicles in Construction" and co-authored "Battery Markets in Construction, Agriculture and Mining". I am now managing a team of two Technology Analysts who are updating and expanding the autonomous vehicles and electrification topics. Aside from my primary content generation, I also spend much of my time now visiting our subscribers and delivering briefings. Here I highlight key outcomes from our research and advise them on which upcoming technologies they should be aware of. Here I have demonstrated huge versatility. On trips to Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Germany, and the US, I have presented many topics, both familiar and unfamiliar to companies with revenues in the tens of billions of dollars. I have begun to increase my involvement in the company's marketing following the notable success of my own press releases. This is an addition to my main workload that I have recently been assigned and I look forward to working more closely with our marketing team to optimize awareness of IDTechEx and its products. In addition to and as part of report authoring, I interviewed many key players across the field, from leading robotaxi companies to start-up semiconductor players. I also produced company profiles on these companies, helping IDTechEx's customers to analyze competitor activity, identify potential partners or acquisitions, identify potential customers, and more. In my previous role as a project engineer, I was primarily working on the Triumph TE-1 project. This project saw WMG, Triumph, WEA, and Integral Powertrain (now Helix), come together to build a prototype electric motorcycle based on the Triumph Speed Triple. This project saw WMG, Triumph, WEA, and Integral Powertrain (now Helix), come together to build a prototype electric motorcycle based on the Triumph Speed Triple. During the project I was responsible for developing a thermal model for the motorcycle, ensuring that the bike could be used vigorously without overheating the battery. I also lead the work around HIL testing, beginning with verifying the fault management systems in the ECU and ending with commissioning a HIL rig which included the motor, inverter, ECU, and a virtual thermal management system that delivered temperature-controlled coolant to the physical powertrain. In addition to my main duties on the TE-1 project, I assisted in the design and build of an experimental thermal test rig. The rig was intended to replicate the thermal management system of an electric vehicle. It used heat pump technology and a sophisticated design and control system to experiment with capturing heat from different sources around the vehicle. After my departure, the system was successfully commissioned and used as a research testbed for WMG. Show less
