As Senior Project Manager, I am accountable for a large portfolio of projects covering three broad areas: - TfL initiated schemes - such as station capacity enhancements and station retail projects;- Developer initiated schemes - where a developer is obligated by planning to fund transport improvements, which are delivered through a project which is procured and managed by TfL;- Developer led schemes - where a developer is obligated by planning to deliver and fund transport improvements.

As the Lead Sponsor of London Underground's Accessibility programme, I was responsible for delivering London Underground's biggest ever investment in Step-Free Access. The programme has a value in excess of £150m and is installing lifts at 25 stations . I managed a team of sponsors and had responsibility for ensuring that projects were governed effectively and delivered the agreed benefits. I had ownership of the programme business case, including the prioritisation and selection of projects. A large part of my role involved managing conflict and change to minimise scope creep, ensuring programme impacts were minimised. This role required me to have an excellent understanding of projects and programmes, combined with strong stakeholder management skills.

As Principal Sponsor I was responsible for London Underground's Asset Renewals Programme and Station Refurbishment Programme. The sponsorship of the Asset Renewals Programme required a strong understanding of Asset Management, Asset Condition Reporting and Project Initiation through Gates 1-3. The Asset Renewals Programme involved the delivery of interventions across the majority of asset groups: fire, mechanical, electrical, comms, premises, etc. The Station Refurbishment Programme was responsible for the upgrade of some of London's most high profile stations. The role involved significant participation in change management, risk management and project governance.

The strategies set out short, medium and long term delivery plans which balanced competing business priorities in order to reduce cost and disruption for passengers, and identify opportunities for secondary revenue. The role involved the sponsorship and project management of small interventions focused on improving customer experience at London Underground stations.
