Senior Pricing Analyst
Responsible for leading the preparation of complex, comprehensive, multi-million dollar business proposal budgets in response to a wide array of Federal, State, Commercial, and Foundation solicitations. Conducts market research, as directed, on incumbent and competing contractors. Working knowledge of the FAR, the principle set of rules by which government agencies acquire goods and services via contract. Routinely communicates with IMPAQ’s strategic teaming partners in response to pricing/business proposal data calls, solicitation requirements, and overall bid strategy. Works closely with IMPAQ VPs, Technical SMEs, and BD team members to ensure consistency between the budget/business volume and the technical solution.Provides leadership and training to junior pricing staff to support pricing growth and team cohesiveness. Reporting directly to the Strategic Growth Group (SGG) Director, provides support in Time and Materials (T&M), Cost plus Award Fee (CP), and Firm Fixed Price (FFP) pricing efforts and Business Proposal responses to Government agencies including NIH, NSF, and HHS, understanding the importance of handling and protecting highly sensitive and proprietary company pricing information including indirect rates. Business Proposal responses typically include various pricing schedules, narratives, and terms and conditions that must adhere to all government requirements set forth in the Statement of Work (SOW). Communicates regularly with SGG team members and Synectics Executives to formulate accurate and compliant responses for each Government solicitation that Synectics responds to. Interacts directly with Synectics teaming partners in responding to specific data calls action items, as directed and necessary. Attends partner meetings, as directed, to participate in proprietary and complex strategic proposal planning sessions. Perform specific and detailed quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and compliance of all response documentation. Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), the principle set of rules by which government agencies acquire goods and services via contract.
Survey Support Specialist
Provides technical and data entry support to respondents from 76 federal agencies for the Fed Funds survey and 58 federal agencies for the Fed Support survey. Communicates regularly with agency-level representatives to encourage timely completion of their survey obligations. Provides help desk support, via phone and e-mail, for respondents who have questions or problems completing the survey and educates new respondents about the types and purposes of data collected in both surveys and the importance of participation. Responsible for the support and training of the Clinical Trials Database (CTDB), designed to support over 300 protocols across 10 NIH institutes. Assisted in the CTDB application implementation training process and management oversight for the University of Delaware (UD) memorandum of understanding with NICHD.
