With a rich background in proposal development and strategic management, I currently serve as the Director at The Manhattan Strategy Group, LLC. In this role, I lead the proposal development team, overseeing the entire process from planning to submission, and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and success rates.Previously, I was the Senior Corporate Manager of Proposal Strategy and Operations at Westat, where I managed corporate proposals across six service lines, led a team of proposal experts, and collaborated with various departments to optimize proposal strategies and win themes.Before Westat, I spent over 17 years at the American Institutes for Research (AIR) in Chicago, where I managed the proposal development for the Human Services division. My work included analyzing RFP requirements, developing compliance matrices, and coordinating full proposal life cycles. I have a proven track record of leading large, complex bids, particularly for federal clients like the U.S. Department of Education and the National Science Foundation.My career began at Learning Point Associates, which later merged with AIR. Here, I honed my skills in proposal development, management, and training, establishing a foundation that has supported my growth and success in subsequent roles.Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to fostering collaborative environments, conducting market research to inform proposal strategies, and consistently delivering high-quality, compliant proposals that drive business growth.
