Responsible for the sales and commercial activities of Amadeus travel agency IT solutions and services in the Asia Pacific region by working in close partnership with the in-country sales team to understand the major business drivers and technical requirements of customers in order to deliver appropriate solutions and services.

Responsible for sales and marketing business strategy in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia through the strategic alignment of sales efforts with the regional corporate, marketing and sales planning departments. Responsible for building and maintaining annual budget for Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.

Responsible for sales and marketing of airline business in Indonesia, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Greater China. Work with GSAs of the various markets to implement sales promotions to increase passenger loads of Jetstar flights. Also work with local and oversea business partners like banks or hotels for joint marketing efforts to build awareness of brand name as well as tactical promotions. In addition, responsible for distribution of airline flight inventory in GDS systems to travel agents and manages relationships with various GDS companies like Abacus and Galileo

Responsible for the sales and marketing performance of local distributor of Abacus system in various markets. Work with the local distributors to plan sales and marketing strategies to promote use of Abacus systems to perform airline and hotel reservations. Ensures that local distributor is aligned with company sales targets and directions. Work with the Country General Manager to manage wholly owned subsidiary company in both India and Pakistan. Also helps local sales staffs to ensure uniformity of service and solution deployment to customers. Beside India and Pakistan, markets handled include Sri Lanka, Bangladesh & Nepal. I was responsible for helping to set up wholly owned subsidiary companies during my stints with Pakistan & Bangladesh. I am also familiar with South East Asia markets due to collaboration projects.

Responsible for managing customer accounts in both retail and corporate sector. Scope of work includes liaising with clients regarding sales matters as well as coming out with marketing and promotion plans for company and clients. Also involve in running loyalty programs and special projects for company to push clients to achieve higher sales target. Customers handled include Courts, Best Denki, Harvey Norman and NTUC Income.
