I held full financial responsibility for P&L and balance sheet for the two businesses, performing monthly financial reporting, forecasting, and risk modelling. I managed a team of 28 through 3 Senior Finance Managers.As a member of the Senior Leadership Team with dotted line to the President, I engaged daily with business leaders and was also a direct liaison with the silent partner of the business and worked closely with the head of tax/compliance on matters such as Sales Tax and Insurance Audits/Renewals. During my tenure key projects include dissolving an underperforming division, stabilising leadership and instilling a continuous-improvement, 1-team culture. By improving governance and workflow, I reduced workloads and drove up employee engagement.
