Having been in the Technology Industry since 1993, I have seen the industry grow and I have developed an immense understanding of technology and security. My knowledge base is developed around practical, hands-on situation. My understanding and expectations of systems’ actual capabilities have been built around actual experience in design, implementation, and management of the systems. Too many times have I seen a piece of paper state what a product can do, and witnessed the product under-perform. Each product brochure and specifications sheet is based on specific settings of a piece of equipment, optimal installation means and methods, and perfect (or as close to perfect as possible) location conditions. In recognition of this, it would be a disservice to one’s self and/or one’s clients to purchase and/or recommend a product based solely on information provided in documentation. Throughout my career, I have never provided and/or recommended a product and/or method, without testing it for myself, or knowing that a trusted individual within my network has.Should you ever have an opportunity to work with me, you can be confident that I my recommendations and methods have been researched. If I have not researched it, I will be the first to tell you and offer the opportunity to research it together. I look at everything as if it was mine and therefore, if I am not content with the outcome, I could not recommend it to someone and maintain my self-respect.For those that might wish to introduce a product or method to me, you must be prepared to provide what is required that I may personally test the product and/or method before I would be willing to recommend it and/or use it.
