I have now been working within the NHS for over 15 years and this has been a highly enjoyable time meeting some great people and achieving many successes via numerous projects and programmes of work. For a long time I worked as an interim or contractor specialising in financial and service turnaround. This led me to Norfolk in 2015 to become the then CCGs Turnaround Director where I was fortunate to meet a wide range of Doctors and Managers in local primary care. This then brought me into one of hte best opportunities of my working life and I have been here since, developing North Norfolk Primary Care.Now we are moving forward with our next iteration of the organisation. Norfolk Primary Care, a Community Interest Company.

Contracted to North Norfolk CCG (NNCCG) as Turnaround Director to develop a wide ranging turnaround programme. Development and delivery of a £9.25m QIPP and design and embedding of a Programme Management Office (PMO) and change management project to provide the CCG with a sustainable efficiency programme. In 2015/16 NNCCG embarked on a £9.25m QIPP Programme as the core element of their Financial Recovery Programme. Leading this programme and delivering a wide ranging change package was one of the best contracts that I have ever been involved in. The CCG posted a very impressive £8m+ figure (4% of allocation) at a project conversion rate of 87% and these projects were 90%+ recurrent. (Not a balance sheet QIPP!) This led to me staying with the CCG and bringing in more Engine13 Limited staff to develop and deliver the 16/17 QIPP Programme where we aim to go further than the previous year. Very much enjoying working with NNCCG and local stakeholders, who want to make sustainable system change happen. Refreshing.

Referees are available from all the above organisations.
