I am a tenacious and diligent 2nd-year Communication and Marketing major at the University of West Florida. Most of my work and life experience has been in the service and hospitality industry, which has helped me cultivate a personable and genuine attitude towards assisting those in need.I took a bit of an intermission from work that started in 2012. I was diagnosed with Transverse Myelitis (a cousin to Multiple Sclerosis) and became paralyzed. Since moving from Florida to Maryland for treatment and then back, I have learned not only to live with a disability but how to thrive. It has been a hard and humbling road but it has added to my attitude and outlook on life.
