From 2015 to 2020, James was constantly involved with designing CAN gateways, fuse boxes, relay boxes, wheel speed sensors, and electric parking brake harnesses for automotive OEMs. Most of his work was dedicated to designing electric parking brake harnesses and their support brackets. While his time at Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems, Inc. (SEWS) allowed him to develop good time management and schedule planning skills, he attained proficiency with technical skills including DFMEA, CAD design, DOE, and FEM analysis. In terms of project management, he performed well in managing supply chains to meet project scope deadlines.He worked as an HVAC light commercial heat pump chassis design engineer for Daikin Comfort Technologies North America, Inc. He allocated much of his time to designing condensers/evaporators and sheet metal for supporting electronic components and lead technical discussions for improving them. He conducted testing as well as analyzed CFD and FEM simulations for condenser fans.Generally, he enjoys working in a team and strongly believes that being a team player is essential for successfully meeting project goals.
