Project Manager working on the Vaccine Taskforce

Appointed as deputy to the Director of Transformation on a large fit-out, relocation and site close-out project to relocate the department from current premises in Central London to Canary Wharf. Total project budget: £32m • Supporting Project Director on the delivery of the fit-out, relocation and existing site closure works • Specific responsibility for delivering various work streams under the main project umbrella • Mobilisation of new FM contract in accordance with GPA, BEIS and CMA guidelines, working to aggressive time scales • Management of relocation work stream, directing external consultants, delivery contractors and construction teams to ensure the space delivered meets stated specifications and requirements of the organisation • Development, integration and implementation of contingency plan, leading a cross-functional team to deliver a robust plan for business continuity • Sole responsibility for fit-out and relocation projects in Edinburgh, Belfast and Cardiff Government Hubs, working with HMRC project team

Development of a property strategy to deliver best value from the existing estate alongside managing relocation works.

Tasked to relocate Scottish Police Authority-Forensic Services from central Glasgow to a purpose built campus housing 1,200 staff from all of the partner agencies. Overall budget £88m.

Role created to grow the project management consultancy service across the UK, with a specific focus on London and the South East. This included management of a team of consultants and contractors, as well as business development and end-to-end delivery of projects.

Employed by the Asset Performance and Facilities Management unit, and Team Leader for 7 consultants, delivering relocations, space planning and design, programme management and change management.
